* 5 eggs
* 3 cups flour, plus more for pan-European

* 1 vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

A mixer, cream butter and reduced to one. Add sugar, a bit 'at a time. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
