* 3 oranges, zest finely peeled broadband
* 260g caster sugar, plus extra to coat
* 300g of dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
* 50g slivered almonds, toasted
* 190g unsalted butter, softened
* 4 eggs
* 225g chopped almonds
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 2 x 100g bars Lindt Excellence Orange Intense
* 60 ml (1 / 4 cup) heavy cream, plus extra to serve
* 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Place the peel in a saucepan, cover with water and bring to boil. Drain, then repeat the process twice. Back to the tray of the crust, add 110 g (1 / 2 cup) sugar 125 ml (1 / 2 cup) of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer for 15 minutes or until syrup is thick and translucent crust. Drain, reserving the syrup. Grated cool, then pull the excess sugar and cut into large chunks.

Place the chocolate in a bowl. Pour 150 ml of boiling water over and whisk until smooth.

Mix the orange, chocolate, butter and remaining cream over a pan of boiling water until melted. Consistency of fresh cream, then divide the pie. Leave to set.
Notes
Planning * Right cake up to 3 days. To serve, add the lemon juice into the syrup and serve with the reserved cake and cream added.
