Kahlua Fudge Brownies

This brownie recipe has a Kahlua surprise!

1-1/2 cups flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup butter
3 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
3 large eggs
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp. Kahlua
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  1. Grease a 9-inch square pan. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. Melt butter and chocolate together over low heat.
  4. Beat eggs and sugar until light. Add flour mixture, chocolate mixture, and 1/4 cup Kahlua. Blend well. Stir in nuts.
  5. Bake 30 minutes or until done.
  6. Cool in pan. Brush with remaining Kahlua, and cut into Kahlua fudge brownies.
