1 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 cup toasted and chopped walnuts
- Cream together butter and sugars with electric mixer.
- Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
- In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Slowly add flour mix to butter mixture, beating on low speed.
- Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts by hand.
- Spoon one tablespoon of batter at a time onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake in 375-degree F degree oven for 9 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
