Almond Butter Brownies

This almond butter brownie recipe is a variation on traditional brownies.


1/2 cup almond butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup grated coconut
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degress F.
  2. Combine the almond butter and sugar. Add the eggs and almond extract; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix well. Stir in the coconut.
  5. Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes.
  6. Cool and cut into almond butter brownie squares.
