1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg.
- Stir in dry ingredients.
- Mix in vanilla.
- Fold in chocolate and nuts.
- Spread in greased 15x10-inch pan (batter will be a thin layer).
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Cool slightly, then cut into 48 chocolate chip bars.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Melt butter in oven in 13x9-inch baking pan. Remove from oven.
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over butter.
- Sprinkle with coconut and chocolate morsels.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over mixture.
- Top with pecans; press down.
- Bake for 22-27 minutes or until golden brown around edges.
- Cool completely in pan on rack. Cut into chocolate chip bars.
