Ingredients
- 120g good-quality dark chocolate
- 125g unsalted butter
- 200g caster sug
ar - 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 85g plain flour
- 2 tbs good-quality cocoa
- 100g walnuts, chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Grease and line base 20 cm square pan.
- Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of boiling water, then let it cool.
- Beat butter and sugar until pale. Add vanilla and eggs one at a time, stirring, until blended. Sift flour and cocoa, then add to egg mixture. Add the chocolate and nuts, pour into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool in pan, then cut into squares to serve.
