Two Blonde Brownies Recipes

Blonde Brownies Recipe (Blondies)

1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
6 tbsp. butter
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
10 oz. chocolate chunks or chips
1/2 c nuts, chopped (optional)

Mix flour, soda, and salt, set aside.

Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Add flour mix and beat until creamy. Add chocolate chips and nuts if desired.

Bake in 9x9-inch pan at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.

Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts
2/3 cup butter
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 teaspoon vanilla
6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add nuts; mix well and set aside.

Melt butter in saucepan; remove from heat. Add brown sugar; beat well. Let cool.

Add eggs and vanilla. Blend well. Add flour mixture, a small amount at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Spread in greased 9x12-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool in pan and cut in squares.
